“I've struggled with disordered eating and body dysmorphia for almost 15 years. I have been in and out of treatment centers and worked with dietitians during that time, but was unable to stick with one for longer than a few weeks.
I reached out to Kali in early 2023 because I was tired of letting my eating disorder control my life. I was hopeful but also skeptical because I wasn't sure I could commit; however, Kali made the recovery process achievable. She was supportive and encouraging every step of the way, and I could tell that she really cared about me and the progress I was making. It was a challenging 9 months, but I was able to succeed because of her support.
She assigned "homework" when she knew that I was ready and could complete it with confidence. This made me feel more secure in my recovery journey. I am much better attuned with my body and so much happier now that I can live in the present without worrying about my eating disorder.
